2nd HERCULES Workshop, November 2025, Online

On Thursday, November 13, we successfully held the online HERCULES Project Workshop #2, titled: “Advances in High Temperature Thermochemical Heat Storage for Industrial Heating.”

The session brought together researchers, industry partners, and stakeholders for insightful presentations and discussions on innovative thermo-chemical heat storage solutions for industrial applications. The following topics were discussed: 

• The HERCULES heat storage approach and overall status
• Thermo-chemical storage material development
• Evaluation of a pre-pilot scale storage reactor
• Simulated application scenario example
• Life Cycle Analysis for an application-scale system.
